Meta is a Jerk 😆

​I do not understand Meta. At all.

After everything I went through getting my Facebook back last year, now Threads will not let me into the account connected to my art Instagram. It says my email, phone number, and password are all wrong, even though I have never used anything else. It also will not let me delete the account or create a new one. Every time I try to start over, it just says, “Sorry, a new account can’t be created at this time.”

Honestly, I do not care if I ever use Threads again. I barely liked it to begin with. What bothers me is that I cannot even access my own account long enough to delete it. It is weird knowing it is just sitting there where people can tag me or interact with me and I have no way to respond.

So fine. Keep Threads. 😂 Just let me delete the damn account I already have.

It has been five days, so I am officially giving up. And honestly, maybe that is for the best. It’s crazy that Meta has such a monopoly on social media, but doesn’t really have any recourse for people when they need help. What I went through with with restoring Facebook was absolutely ridiculous. I don’t really have anything on Threads that I care and lost so that really doesn’t matter, but I just don’t understand their lack of help for users. Whatever Meta. 🤚🏼😆
