Dreaming About Christmas
Norah Harper indeed has a stomach virus. Now I just hope it doesn’t hit the rest of us. Poor baby bug. ðĐ
I’m just getting groceries and things delivered from Sam’s today because I’m not going to leave her home sick. Yuck! I hate viruses.
I did the cutest Inktober picture yesterday, but I haven’t scanned it yet and forgot to post it. I’ll post it when I do today’s.
I think I’ve been overthinking Inktober a little. I had all these clever ideas because I wanted to do something different from everybody else, but when it’s time to actually paint, I’m like, “Yeah, I’m not gonna sit here and do all that.” ðĪŠð Especially with all the commissions I’m juggling right now! So I’m simplifying things and sticking to cute little illustrations and doodles. I’m finishing this challenge, but I’m kinda over it this week. ðĪŠ
Honestly, I’m over Halloween and all of it. This hurricane thing just put a damper on October. Just let me put my Christmas tree up already!
This year I won’t put our tree up too early because we’re getting a real tree. Gary really wants a real tree this year. ðĪ But that doesn’t mean I can’t go ahead and decorate everything else! ðð
All right, I’m about to get up, call my sister-in-law to check on my nephews and see how they’re feeling after all their vaccines yesterday, and then get back to work on my commissions and taking care of my baby girl.
Hopefully, it’ll be a pretty quiet day. ðĪ
